Cloud Office Sr. Cloud Architect created the Architecture and set up all related elements in order for the deployment to go through. We worked closely with the customer and development team to ensure a successful deployment.

The Challenge

The initial idea was to have the Architecture run on App Engine Standard, but that was switched to Flex due to the specifics of October CMS(Laravel). After a few changes to the app.yaml and the October CMS repository, the application was ready for the migration from the test environment and a live deployment.

The Solution

By using and utilizing the knowledge and documentation, as always, working with GCP was a breeze. The specifics of the selected OctoberCMS(Laravel) were quickly resolved and the deployment is a success.

The Result

October CMS(Laravel) is now running on App Engine Flexible with a connected SQL instance and Storage bucket for backups and static data. All IAM and Admin policies are in place and the application is running successfully.

Working with Cloud Office and their Sr. Architect proved to be quick, easy and straightforward. What we did together brought us to a successful deployment of our Application on a Serverless Architecture with a hope to continue the further development of the MVP and reach a stable scalable release for future expansion.
