  • Demonstrated expertise (3+ years) as a technical engineer in a cloud computing environment like AWS and Google Cloud. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of container technologies, including Docker, and understanding of Kubernetes architecture.
  • Solid proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Experience in cloud enablement and migration projects, as well as hybrid cloud setups.
  • Fundamental cloud networking and security knowledge, including security best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools for seamless software delivery.

  • Previous DevOps experience will be considered an advantage.
  • GCP certifications preferred; Azure and AWS certifications will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with observability tools and platforms will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable cloud solutions using containers, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Leverage your deep understanding of container technologies, including Docker, to drive the deployment and management of containerized applications.
  • Harness the power of Terraform to define, provision, and manage infrastructure resources, ensuring efficiency and scalability in cloud environments.
  • Apply cloud security best practices to safeguard container and infrastructure environments, while also optimizing cloud networking configurations.
  • Utilize your expertise in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and management to orchestrate and optimize containerized environments.
  • Play a significant role in hybrid cloud setups, enabling seamless integration between on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
  • Provide technical mentorship, collaborating closely with the team and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging cloud technologies and methodologies, quickly learning and adapting to new tools and frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in cloud environments, applying problem-solving skills to enhance performance and optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for automation, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Integrate DevOps practices to bridge the gap between development and operations, fostering efficient CI/CD pipelines and cross-team collaboration.

  • Participate in pre-sales efforts, showcasing the advantages of Google Cloud technology to potential customers.
  • Lead the discovery of existing infrastructures and setups, ensuring a seamless technical transition to Google Cloud from legacy environments.
  • Collaborate with existing customers on infrastructure modernization and movement toward managed services and serverless solutions for enhanced cost and performance optimization.
  • Be the go-to Google Cloud expert, providing insights and guidance to customers to ensure successful cloud adoption.
  • Craft and implement innovative cloud solutions that align with business objectives, driving efficiency and scalability.
